Three days of smoothies, evening meditation and brain training games. I can’t say for sure, but we might be on a roll!
Last night, I asked M how the “Find A Word” puzzles were going, since that was what he had chosen to do as his brain training game. He said it was very slow and showed me that he had only circled a couple of very small words in the puzzle.
I looked at what he had done and noticed that what he had circled and the words that he should be searching for were two different things. Then he mentioned that he didn’t know what the list of words on the side were doing there.
Okay! I think I see the disconnect here.
I showed him that those were the words he should be looking for in the puzzle and then we found a couple. I think we got him going in the right direction.
A bonus of having our younger son here has been having him help M run errands – such as today, when they went to M’s old job to get his toolbox. It’s something that M has been wanting to do and has talked about for a while, but it was going to take some coordination and a vehicle big enough to get it home (his work toolbox is big!) I’m glad it won’t be worrying him anymore.
Our younger son will be hitting the road for his next assignment on Sunday. We’ll be sad to see him leave, but excited to have a new place to go visit.
Good on getting the tool box. You never know what might happen to it there.
I hadn’t thought about THAT, but you’re right!! 🙂
