This has been one more CRAZY week!

At work, I’ve been helping with a project that has a looming deadline, so it’s been all hands on deck. Some people have been staying well into the night to try and complete everything. Welcome to Snowmageddon 2020!

Our area had the first snow of this winter yesterday and wow! You would have thought we had never seen anything like it before. Everyone kept checking out the windows, anxiously waiting to see if and when it would start. The people who work in the same building I do are part of our Home Health staff, so they weren’t excited about getting on the road if they were going to get stuck in it. My mom called me Saturday night to let me know that someone in our neighborhood had put 20 or 30 monkey grass plants “free to a good home” at the street, so if I wanted them, I needed to hurry up and get them. When I left the house Friday, M was concerned because he hadn’t remembered it was Valentine’s day, so I told him NOT to go buy me anything, but to pick me some daffodils from the yard. Happy Valentine’s Day 2020!

M has always been a big proponent of greeting cards – he LOVES to give and receive cards for every special occasion, so I made sure I had a couple of Valentine’s cards for him this morning.
