The happiest person on the face of this earth is my husband. No kidding. Ever since we got home from the beach and he’s been within his four walls, with his pups, he’s been as happy as a clam. Continue reading “Truly, There’s No Place Like Home”

How many times have I said it – it seemed like such a good idea at the time? This one really did . . . really! Our nieces were celebrating their birthdays (12 and 4) and they live at the beach so it seemed like the perfect opportunity for M and I to have a few days at the beach. Right? This time of year, it’s the heat. It’s always the heat. I used to love summer when I was a kid. In fact, I can remember a time when we didn’t have air conditioning – all we had was an attic fan in our house. But honestly, right now, I don’t know how we survived it. It’s so hot outside! And humid, too! Continue reading “It’s the Heat!”
